A love of Paris shaped this new home for empty nesters who enjoy welcoming family for relaxed gatherings. With a self-described Francophile at its heart, the vision paired the elegance of Parisian architecture with a modern, playful, and collected interior.

SMDG collaborated with the architects from the ground up, helping develop front elevation details inspired by prominent Parisian buildings and their distinctive accents. Equally central was accessibility for a family member. Through thoughtful planning and creative detailing, accommodations were woven seamlessly into the design, appearing as intentional aesthetic choices while allowing the home to welcome everyone comfortably.

Inside, unexpected pieces and expressive color reflect the couple’s personality. Their love of purple finds its fullest expression in the aptly named “Purple Rain” office. The result is a home with French soul, individual character, and family connection at its core.
